More is More

I’m thrilled that earthy tones are sticking around—they’re the quiet classics we can always rely on. And this year, Pantone’s Color of the Year, Mocha Mousse, takes it up a notch. It’s not just another neutral; it’s that sweet spot between pink and brown. I adore how versatile it is—pair it with vibrant colors like bright pink and orange if you’re feeling playful, or go for a luxe, soulful vibe with warm browns and off-whites.
As you’ve probably seen in fashion too, brown and burgundy are here to stay. They make such a strong base—you can dress them up or down however you like.

Sadly, we’re saying goodbye to bows. I loved using bows for decorating trees, candlesticks, and even tablescapes. But hey, it’s time for something new.
Stripes. Yes, stripes are the print for 2025. What I love about stripes is how versatile they are—they can feel playful, young, and bold, but also classic and chic. Think striped fabrics for pillows, napkins, duvet covers, or even going bold with striped wallpaper or painted walls. They bring rhythm and calm, which every space needs

Exciting furniture
Bar carts are officially the “it” furniture piece of 2025! I mean, what’s not to love? They’re versatile, practical, and stylish. Whether you prefer a sleek black aluminum design or a vintage brass-and-glass vibe, there’s something for everyone. Plus, they’re perfect for indoor or outdoor entertaining, or even as an extra table while cooking (trust me, I’ve tried it).
Oh, and have you seen the rise of home speakeasy bars? Hidden bars in pickled cabinets in overwhelming red or emerald green with fumed mirrors and vintage crystal. A DIY project to surprise your guests with.
Maximalist eclecticism is back. Based on the idea of making a unique composition out of many different colors, textures and materials, this is the most challenging interior design style. Not for everyone, but oh so beautiful when executed well. There is something new to discover everywhere and everything falls together like a puzzle, so to speak.

Rococo-core, one I came across online. Bridgerton inspired floral, pastel-colored interiors with gold accents. Not quite my thing, but a fun inspiration as a party theme. Especially as table decorations. Think tall gold chandeliers with long dinner candles on white tablecloths and floral tableware. Tulip-shaped glasses in crystal and lots of little vases with flowers in pastel colors.

That's it-my personal take on what's in and out for 2025. Whether you're team minimalist, maximalist or somewhere in between, this year has something for everyone.
